Swale Community Leisure Vision Awards 2024

We are excited to announce the return of the SCL Vision Awards for 2024!

Do you know dedicated individuals who go above and beyond to develop and deliver groups, clubs, and initiatives that benefit their local communities?

The Swale Community Leisure Vision Awards offer a chance to recognise and celebrate the hard work and achievements within our local communities. The event, hosted by James Heming, has been running since 2018, and in this time has celebrated a number of deserving members, clubs and organisations in Swale.

This year, we are expanding the scope of the event to include Maidstone and Gravesham, to reflect all communities served by our facilities;

  • Swallows Leisure Centre – Sittingbourne, Swale
  • Sheppey Leisure Complex – Isle of Sheppey, Swale
  • Hermitage Park Community Centre – Maidstone
  • Meopham Leisure Centre – Gravesham

The Awards Categories reflect SCL’s 5 key themes:

  • Sport
  • Leisure
  • Health
  • Education
  • Culture/Community

Each category will now have an award for Swale, Maidstone, and Gravesham. Alongside the Tony Gribble Award (named after SCL’s previous chairman and trustee) and awarded for overall outstanding achievement from among the winners of the above categories.

Nominations open on Monday 2nd September. For more information and full aware category information, please visit: https://swaleleisure.org/vision-awards-2024
